动植物资源十分丰富，许多还是珍稀物种。 有虎、熊、獐、鹿、麂羚羊、山羊、毛狗、飞虎、狗獾、刺猬、猚子、猴、野猪、火鸡、锦鸡、野鸡、笨笨鸡、娃娃鸡、竹鸡、珍珠鸡等，鸟类品种繁多，不胜枚举。河里有娃娃鱼、阳鱼等数十种。他们活跃山水之间，鸣叫振荡山谷，悦耳动听，体态各异，美丽动人。
