百里峡还是一个巨大的天然植物园，有高等植物 3000 多种，其中中草药就达 1348 味，珍稀植物达 30 多种，他们不仅为茫茫群山增光添彩，而且还为人们提供各种天然果菜，可供食用的就达 300 多种。
