保定是国家历史文化名城，中国优秀旅游城市，自古就有“京畿重地”、“首都南大门”之称，保定境内自然风光优美，旅游资源丰富，拥有国家级风景名胜区7处，5A级景区3处，是京津冀地区休闲度假首选之地。
